Academics
At DGS, our High School program is designed to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and character needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Rooted in the core values of Community, Character, and Cognition, our curriculum challenges students to think critically, act ethically, and engage meaningfully with their learning. With small class sizes, personalized support, and a globally focused approach, we ensure that each student receives a rigorous and well-rounded education that prepares them for university and beyond.
DGS High School offers two academic pathways tailored to student aspirations:
- The International Pathway, which combines the Vietnamese MOET Diploma with the AP Capstone Diploma, provides a bilingual, research-based education that fosters global readiness.
The Domestic Pathway, available in STEM or Humanities, integrates the MOET curriculum with Advanced Placement (AP) courses in research, critical thinking, and subject specialization, ensuring students meet university entrance requirements in Vietnam and internationally.
Beyond academics, students engage in experiential learning, leadership development, and service initiatives that build resilience, curiosity, and a sense of purpose. Our robust college counseling program provides personalized guidance to help students target and gain acceptance into top global universities. Through strategic academic planning, standardized test preparation, and expert mentorship, we ensure students are well-prepared not just for entry, but for success at leading institutions worldwide. From research and internships to outdoor education and community projects, DGS graduates emerge as competent, ethical leaders ready to make a meaningful impact.
