If we had to choose just one word to describe Christmas Day at DGS, it would be “wow” - a feast for the eyes, a joy for the ears, and most of all, a moment that truly warmed the heart.
The hallway quickly filled with delicious aromas and cheerful voices calling out to one another. Food stalls, hand-drawn photobooths, and bead-making booths soon became lively gathering spots. Every dish and handmade item was carefully prepared and thoughtfully displayed. Snowman-shaped cookies, honey donuts, warm cups of hot chocolate… simple treats, yet enough to make anyone stop, take a bite, and feel the gentle sweetness of Christmas.

Then the stage lights came on, and the Christmas Celebration truly began. The stage did not shine through extravagance, but through passion and confidence. Each performance told its own story, through music, movement, and emotion. The audience was taken on a journey, from the nail-biting excitement of the Kahoot challenge to the soft melodies of “Em Trang Trí - Ngọt”, the parody “Mean Girls - Jingle Bell Rock” performance by K4, energetic dance performances by K1, slowing down into the heartfelt performance of “A Christmas Carol” by the Drama Club. The festival ended on a high note with the Teachers’ Band making their debut with “Stand By Me,” drawing cheers and excitement from the entire school.

Behind every round of applause were hurried lunches, practice sessions squeezed into break times, and countless hours spent rehearsing lines, movements, and stage positions. It was the patience, effort, and teamwork of students, teachers, and staff that made every performance shine.

And as the music played and the lights glowed, everything came together to create a truly joyful Christmas day - one filled with colors, sounds, and a strong sense of community in every moment.
